Im Lieferumfang dieses Produkts ist der Tankring Basic enthalten, der eine direkte und stabile Verbindung zwischen Tank und Tankrucksack herstellt. Zusätzlich wird ein passender Gegenhalter mitgeliefert, der je nach spezifischer Tankform und Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack angebracht wird. Die Konstruktion des Tankrings erlaubt es, den Tankdeckel auch bei montiertem Ring problemlos zu öffnen.

Unterschiede zu anderen Tankringen

Der Basic Tankring unterscheidet sich von dem Lock-it Tankring durch seine rein mechanische Verriegelung, während der Lock-it zusätzlich Magnete zur Zentrierung nutzt. Beide Systeme verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.

Weitere Hinweise: Tankrucksäcke und Gegenhalter müssen zum selben System gehören, um kompatibel zu sein. Ein Tankrucksack mit Lock-it Gegenhalter ist nicht auf einem Basic Tankring montierbar und vice versa.

One small issue I encountered is that the pieces screw together but they wouldn't screw all the way it felt difficult and possibly if forced the steel might crack. Unfairly enough other pieces did completely screw in. So it's probably because of imperfections on the threads.

It is cheaper than plywood and shelving boards, and a full 1" thick rather than 1x12 shelving.
