The shape is short and wide and offers plenty of surface area for planing. With approx. 30% more volume than the Thruster, there is also an extra portion of lift.
The rocker is kept flat for high maximum speed and the outline allows powerful turns without the rail digging in.
The Summer Fish has 5 futures fin boxes and works equally well as a quad or thruster.

TORQ TEC CONSTRUCTION IN DETAIL:
Torq Epoxy Composite offers versatile performance shapes in the most advanced epoxy construction.
A mix of traditional fiberglass layers and carbon fibers is used, which makes the boards ultra-light and robust.
Leading epoxy technology
The TEC range is one step ahead by using optimized composite construction methods. Super stable, yet lightweight boards with perfect flex.
Control - Flex - Response
In the TORQ Epoxy Composite production, one layer each of 6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as stringers) are processed. The underside is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and also has a carbon strip that extends over the entire length, giving the board controlled flex and lively response.
Unrivaled durability
The groundbreaking TEC technology has been applied to achieve true high performance boards with unrivaled durability.
EPS foam:
Lighter-Faster-Greener
The computer-controlled production of the blanks results in significantly less waste. No MDI and TDI. Far more environmentally friendly than conventional polyurethane blanks.
STABILITY AND LIGHTNESS
6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as a 6oz deck patch provide more stability at a lower weight than conventional polyester boards.
CARBON FIBERS:
Stronger - livelier
Provide the board with higher stretchability than fiberglass. More lively in the maneuvers plus stronger in the stressed region such as over the fins.
EPOXY RESIN:
Stiffer - More environmentally friendly
Less release of toxic VOCs during curing. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste during processing.

Quality Product, Definitely Recommend
Size: 17.2"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut, Size: 17.2"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut
Looks and feels great. Amazingly smooth, and well-crafted. It fits the length of my keyboard, and has quality grippers on the base to prevent sliding. Was actually really pleased with it.

High quality solid wood rest
Size: 14.4"L x 3.15"W x 0.78"H, Color: Black Walnut
This wrist rest is nicely finished and was well packed in high-density foam as well as a cardboard box that was wrapped very tightly in thick plastic. It's sanded very, very smooth and is made of beautiful solid walnut, with nonskid pads on the back. The branding is on the side that touches the keyboard, so it is not visible or obtrusive at all. My keyboard is 15.5 inches long, and the 14.4 inch rest looks great up against it. The 0.78" thickness is also very suitable for the thickness of my keyboard.
The product gets 5 stars because it is accurately represented and this is entirely down to personal preference, but something about this rest that I don't love is the degree of incline. I have my keyboard up on the kickstands, and the wrist rest that I already owned slopes pretty dramatically starting from the middle, so it follows the angle of the keyboard. The ZQL wrist rest is about 75% flat and then has a small slope that rounds off on the bottom edge.
Again, this is very much a personal thing; I just brought it up because it's something that people might not think too much about until they actually use it. I think this rest would be great for anyone with very large hands, or with a flat keyboard. It's taking a little getting used to for me, but I really enjoy the smoothness and obvious quality of the wood. A wrist rest is an ergonomic must when it comes to thicker keyboards.
