  • Umfangreiches Roster: Mit über 80 spielbaren Charakteren – von Nintendo-Ikonen wie Mario, Link und Pikachu bis hin zu Gaststars wie Sonic, Cloud oder Steve – bietet das Spiel das größte Kämpferaufgebot der Serie.
  • Kampfsystem: Jeder Charakter hat ein anderes Gewicht, eine andere Geschwindigkeit und einzigartige Spezialangriffe. Je mehr Schaden ein Kämpfer einsteckt (angezeigt in Prozent), desto weiter fliegt er bei Treffern durch die Luft.
  • Items und Stages: Auf über 100 verschiedenen Kampfarenen, die oft interaktiv sind, können Spieler Items wie Pokébälle, Waffen oder Hilfstrophäen einsetzen, um sich einen Vorteil zu verschaffen.
