Die indische Künstlerin Nalini Malani gilt als Pionierin in Film, Fotografie, Videokunst und Performance, die die moderne und die zeitgenössische Kunst ihres Landes miteinander verbindet. Ihre Arbeiten setzen sich kritisch mit der politischen Situation in Indien auseinander und bedienen sich neben westlichen Traditionen in Kunst und Literatur auch einer typisch indischen Ikonografie. Das Centre Pompidou zeigt nun die erste Retrospektive von Nalini Malani. Die Ausstellung sowie der Katalog decken mit Werken von 1969-2017 fast fünf Jahrzehnte ihres Schaffens ab. Zu diesem Anlass belebt die Künstlerin auch das »Videoschattenspiel« Remembering Mad Meg (2007) wieder, eine Arbeit aus der Sammlung des Centre Pompidou. Die Grundgedanken, die ihrer Arbeit zugrunde liegen, werden hier anschaulich: Utopien, Dystopien, ihre Sicht auf Indien und die Stellung von Frauen in der Welt.Ausstellung: 18.10.2017-8.1.2018, Centre Pompidou, Paris (Part I); 17.9.2018–6.1.2019, Castello di Rivoli, Turin (Part II)

If you need something warm

Not cooling at all. Very warm 365 days a year (I live in AZ) Use it as an extra layer of fluff on my bed rather then an actual blanket as its to warm for me. Very soft though. Washes well and holds its color. Priced well. Lightweight. Have had for sometime and isnt falling apart.

Perfect, lightweight; just what I was looking for. It’s soft and feels nice.
Sage Green color is true to the photo.
I bought a king for a queen bed, I’m glad I didn’t get the queen because it would have left my mattress visible but I can still see the bed with the king.
For the price, it’s okay quality and I’m okay with that.

Lightweight, Cozy, and Affordable!

This comforter is such a great value for the price. It’s lightweight but still warm and cozy, making it perfect for year-round use. The fabric feels soft to the touch, and it fluffs up nicely right out of the package.
The queen size fits my bed perfectly and looks great once styled with pillows. It also washes well — I tossed it in the washer and dryer and it came out just as fluffy as before, no clumping or shifting.
If you want a comfortable, budget-friendly comforter that looks and feels nice, this is definitely a great pick!
