Darber hinaus wird dieser Konbu nicht nur einfach getrocknet, sondern in einem aufwendigen Verfahren veredelt und reifen gelassen, um den besten Geschmack und das Umami hervorzuheben.

Rishiri Konbu ergibt ein sehr klares Dashi und ist deshalb sehr beliebt bei den Küchenchefs der Kansai Region, berühmt für ihre Kaiseki Küche. Diese Qualität von Aimono ist natürlich gewachsen (wild) und die Blätter sind sehr dick, was eine fantastische Qualität auszeichnet. Aimono Konbu ist ein Algenspezialist der "Konbu Straße" in der Toyama Präfektur, wo Konbu und andere Algen früher die kaiserliche Hauptstadt Kyoto erreichten. Bis heute werden Aimono-Produkte dort in Spitzenrestaurants verwendet und nicht zuletzt beliefert Aimono das weltberühmte Restaurant Noma, um nur einen weiteren zufriedenen Kunden zu nennen.

UPDATE 1: Seller got in touch and is sending replacement power unit. Will update again once it arrives. I do really like the look of these and they did wonders for a dark park of my closet that has built-ins. ORIGINAL: Lights stopped working after about 6 weeks (beyond the 30 day return policy). Seems like the control unit died. Haven’t found any feasible way to contact seller or manufacturer. Will update review if anything changes.

I do suggest that because there are two light reels there should be two connecter boxes as well. We had to purchase two packages. Overall, We are satisfied with our purchase.
