Plot
Two people with opposing outlooks on life fall in love in MBC's romantic comedy Lucky Romance, an adaptation of Kim Dal Nim's popular web cartoon published in 2014! A year after the huge success of She Was Pretty, Hwang Jung Eum returns to the small screen in the workplace romcom co-starring Ryu Jun Yeol (Reply 1988), who won Best New Actor at the 35th MBC Drama Awards for his impressive performance. Lee Soo Hyuk (Local Hero), Lee Cheong Ah (Because This Is My First Life), Jung Sang Hoon (The Lady in Dignity) and Kim Sang Ho (Doctor Stranger) also appear in Lucky Romance.
Shim Bo Nui (Hwang Jung Eum) works various part-time jobs to afford the hefty hospital bills of younger sister Bo Ra (Kim Ji Min), who has been comatose since a car accident two years ago. A fortune teller tells her that sleeping with a man born in the Year of the Tiger is the only way to save her sister. Following his advice, Bo Nui starts to pursue Je Su Ho (Ryu Jun Yeol), an arrogant game company CEO who doesn't believe in superstitions.
