Die Seiteneingangshöhlen dienen als Schutz- und Rückzugsmöglichkeit für Welse sowie L-Welse wie z.B. L-181 und L183, die den Eingang lieber seitlich haben. 
 Die Seiteneingangshöhlen sind ca. 19 cm lang und haben einen seitlichen Eingang von ca. 5,5cm Durchmesser.  Der gesamte Durchmesser der Seiteneingangshöhle beträgt ca. 7cm. Die Höhlen sind auch ideal für Bepflanzungen von Moos.
 Da die Oberfläche recht porös ist, wächst das Moos sehr schnell und leicht an.

This ball has been a boredom buster lifesaver. On the first day my 15 week golden retriever puppy played with it for a good 2 hours straight.
