Der Guado de‘ Gemoli von Chiappini ist ein robuster, strukturierter Bolgheri Rosso Superiore Rotwein, der 20 Monate lang in Barriques reift. An der Nase besitzt der Guado de’Gemoli ein komplexes Geruchsspektrum von Marmelade, Gewürzen, Lakritze, Tabak und Graphit.

Der „Guado de‘ Gemoli“ von Chiappini ist ein Bolgheri Rosso Superiore, der aus der Zusammenfügung von drei klassischen „Bordeaux“-Reben, nämlich Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot und Cabernet Franc, hergestellt wird. Dadurch ist er in der Lage, die Eigenschaften des Bolgheri-Gebiets voll zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Ein eleganter und kraftvoller Bolgheri Superiore, welcher sich durch eine wirklich bewundernswerte aromatische Komplexität auszeichnet, die sich über viele Jahre hinweg entwickeln kann und der komplexen Palette an Düften neue Nuancen verleiht.

Dank seines guten Säuregehalts und seiner Tanninstruktur ist der Guado de’Gemoli hervorragend geeignet für die Reifung. Ein komplexer und etwas strenger Rotwein, der zu großen Fleisch- und Wildgerichten passt.

Die Trauben vom Cabernet Sauvignon kommen aus dem 1978 angelegten Weinberg Le Grottine mit Böden aus Sand, Ton, Kalk und dem so genannten Bolgheri Konglomeratgestein.

Die Merlot und Cabernet Franc Trauben stammen aus dem Weinberg Felciaino, der 1986 angelegt wurde.

Die Ernte findet zwischen der dritten Septemberwoche und Mitte Oktober statt, je nachdem, welche Sorten geerntet werden sollen. Die Trauben werden nach Rebsorten getrennt in temperaturkontrollierten Edelstahlbehälter auf natürlichen Hefen vergoren und durchlaufen die malolaktische Gärung im französischen Barrique, wo sie auch über 20 Monate reifen. Es werden 15% neue Barriquefässer verwendet. Es folgt eine weitere Verfeinerung von 12 Monaten direkt in der Flasche vor der Freigabe.

Der Guado de’Gemoli wird in einer Auflage von 10.000 Flaschen jährlich hergestellt.
