Künstlerinnen in Mexiko präsentieren ihre Lebenswelt in dezidiert weiblicher Sicht und antworten auf internationale künstlerische Strömungen mit ganz eigenen Ansätzen: Arbeiten von Teresa Serrano (*1936), Ximena Cuevas (*1963), Betsabeé Romero (*1963), Teresa Margolles (*1963), Claudia Fernández (*1965), Melanie Smith (*1965) und Maruch Sántiz Gómez (*1975) bilden den Kern dieser Publikation. Die Fotografien, Videos, Objekte und Installationen aus dem Bestand der Daros Latinamerica Collection in Zürich werfen einen subversiven Blick auf die nationale Identität Mexikos. Die Arbeiten stellen herrschende Machthierarchien und die ihnen zugeordneten traditionellen Funktionen sowie die sozialen Räume von Frauen innerhalb der mexikanischen Gesellschaft in Frage. So soft they were able to fold it multiple times over into a box a fraction of the size of the pillow.

Hotel-like comfort at home
I bought these pillows from Beautyrest and they really exceeded my expectations. They are very soft but at the same time have good support, which helps you rest better throughout the night. They feel like luxury hotel pillows, especially because of their down-like filling.
The jumbo size is perfect and they come well filled, they are not easily crushed. In addition, the cotton cover feels fresh and of good quality.
They arrived quickly and well packed. After using them for several days, they maintain their shape and comfort. I definitely recommend them if you are looking to improve your rest without spending too much.
