Das Trennwandband B1 dient zur wirksamen Reduzierung der Schallübertragung und zum Ausgleich von Unebenheiten im Anschlussbereich. Durch die einseitige Selbstklebung kann es direkt von der Rolle verarbeitet werden und unterstützt eine zügige und saubere Montage. Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung entspricht das Material der Baustoffklasse B1 nach DIN 4102-1. Zusätzlich kann das Band als Nageldichtband eingesetzt werden, um Durchdringungen von Nägeln und Schrauben zwischen Konterlattung und Dachunterspannbahn zuverlässig gegen Feuchtigkeit abzudichten.
