Der EYE Beacon Mesh ist ein auf Wirepas Mesh basierender Beacon für anspruchsvolles Indoor-Tracking und Asset-Tracking, der große Netzwerke mit tausenden Geräten ohne Störungen oder Überlastung unterstützt. Er eignet sich für die Nachverfolgung beweglicher Objekte in Bereichen wie Logistik, Landwirtschaft und Bauwesen sowie für Indoor-Anwendungen in Lagern, Krankenhäusern oder Industrieumgebungen, wobei eine raumgenaue Ortung möglich ist.

Das System ist zudem auf lange Laufzeit und geringen Wartungsaufwand ausgelegt und lässt sich über eine Mobile App einfach konfigurieren, scannen und aktualisieren.

Ein zentrales Merkmal ist der Hibernationsmodus: Dabei wird das Gerät zur Auslieferung deaktiviert (OFF), um die Batterie während Lagerung und Transport zu schonen. Es kann entweder aktiv (ON) oder im Hibernationsmodus bestellt werden. Im Schlafmodus verbraucht es kaum Energie, ist jedoch nicht im Netzwerk aktiv. Die Aktivierung erfolgt einfach per Magnet, woraufhin eine LED den Start signalisiert. Dadurch lassen sich Geräte lange lagern, ohne Batterieverlust, und bei Bedarf schnell mit voller Leistung einsetzen, was Lagerhaltung, Einsatzbereitschaft und Projektflexibilität deutlich verbessert.
