Die "Sailor Collar Chore Jacket" von Old Joe spielt mit bekannten Workwear-Formen und verschiebt sie in eine andere Richtung. Der Kragen ist dabei der Schlüssel: kompakt, leicht gerundet, irgendwo zwischen klassischem Sailor Collar und einer reduzierten Schalkragen-Variante. Das verändert die Silhouette spürbar – ruhiger, klarer, fast schon elegant.

Gefertigt aus einem eigens entwickelten 9.6oz Denim, der sich bewusst vom Gewohnten absetzt. In der Kette kommen kurzstapelige Baumwollfasern zum Einsatz, die dem Stoff diese trockene, leicht körnige Oberfläche geben. Im Schuss wird eine Mischung aus US-, australischer und brasilianischer Baumwolle verarbeitet, gezwirnt für einen festen, fast schon knackigen Griff.

Die Farbe: ein tiefes Indigo, im Rope-Dye-Verfahren gefärbt. Satt, dunkel, mit viel Potenzial für markante Alterungsspuren. Durch eine spezielle Sanforisierung bleibt dabei genau das erhalten, was Raw Denim ausmacht – die leichte Unruhe im Gewebe, die feinen Härchen auf der Oberfläche, die mit der Zeit ihren eigenen Weg gehen.
