Der federleichte iProphy lässt sich spielend einfach bewegen. Alle erforderlichen Einstellungen wie Start/Stopp und die Auswahl einer der fünf Rotationsgeschwindigkeiten (von 500 bis 2.500/min) erfolgen mit dem Zeigefinger. Sperriges Zubehör wie Fußschalter oder Steuergerät ist nicht erforderlich. Dank der sechs einstellbaren Positionen des ultrakleinen iFX57 Kopfs auf dem Motorhandstück erreichen Behandler jeden Winkel im Mund des Patienten. Die große Flexibilität setzt sich bei der Auswahl der damit zu betreibenden Instrumente fort. Als Komplettset ist iProphy inklusive Winkelstück iFX57 für Einschraubkelche und -bürsten verfügbar. Wahlweise steht dem Anwender auch ein Gerät ohne iFX57 zur Verfügung, das in Verbindung mit dem PR-F-Aufsatz sogenannte DPA (Disposable Prophy Angles, also Einmalaufsätze) antreiben kann.
