Damit im Kurbelgehäuse sich durch die Blow-By-Gase kein Überdruck aufbaut, besitzen die allermeisten Motoren eine sog. Kurbelgehäuseentlüftung. Da die abgeführte Luft Öldämpfe enthält, darf sie nicht in die Umwelt entlassen werden. Stattdessen wird sie in die Ansaugung geführt, vom Motor angesaugt und im Brennraum dann verbrannt. Das Problem dabei ist, dass sich die Öldämpfe an den Einlasskanälen und Ventilen absetzen. Das sieht nicht nur unschön aus, sondern behindert eine saubere Strömung der angesaugten Luft, was z. B. einen unrunden Leerlauf zur Folge haben kann.
Hier schafft eine Oil Catch Can Abhilfe: Die Luft aus dem Kurbelgehäuse wird so durch einen Ölabscheider geführt, bevor sie dem Motor zugeführt wird, wodurch die Verkokung vermindert wird.
Das Set enthält alle zum Einbau benötigten Kleinteile wie z.B. Schläuche und Schlauchschellen.
Passend für BMW F20, BMW F21, BMW F22, BMW F23, BMW F30, BMW F31, BMW F32, BMW F33, BMW F34, BMW F36 bzw. BMW M135i, BMW M235i, BMW 335i und BMW 435i.

Big Investment for a Lifetime of Quality

Several reviews mentioned a smell lingering with the sheepskin even after being unpacked a few days. I did notice the smell when I unpacked it, but I would expect a slight odor from such an item. It was not overpowering and is completely gone after one month of having it laid out on a chest in our bedroom. It is very functional, can be sat on, knelt on, etc, but is easily brushed off and looks great! The quality is very good…someone in my family is on it every night, and we have experienced no shedding whatsoever.
Although the price is a big investment initially, I believe the quality is worthy. We plan to enjoy this beautiful sheepskin for a lifetime!

Really soft & my dog loves it. I used it as a throw over my couch for decor. The smell when I took it out of the package was probably one of the worst smells I’ve ever smelled. Like old broccoli or something. I left it outside to air out all day and that was gone.

Not premium quality! I've seen actual authentic ones before.

Despite all the positive reviews, I believe this product is subpar. There are genuine sheep skin Hydes but this product is NOT it. There is no leather embossing showing authenticity, and many signs of strong chemical treatment. Smell is lingering and I've aired them for over two days. Not very comfortable since the fur is very thick and coarse, you would expect it to be softer for the price as well. Not premium quality. I ordered this for my children to sleep on at long evening Church services but now I will look to more niche sellers for a higher quality product.

ITS SOOOO FLUFFY!!

Ooouuu she’s so fluffy!!!!!! Omg, I’m in love. The color looks exactly as pictured. The gear shift cover was way too small for my RAV4 but it’s okay, it kind of interfered with the button to move the gear. Also, if you need to see the info on the dash, be aware that the steering wheel cover blocks it for the most part. I’m not bothered by it but it’s something to make note of for those who might be.
