I used this instead of a softener sheet because I read that the wool balls make laundry softer, static free and smelling fresh & in the case of this typeblanket or throw, fluffier. The blanket came out of the dryer perfect! Much softer, much fluffier - you could really notice the bubbles - and there wasn't much lint in the lint catcher, but it was enough to stop it from shedding little fluffy bits! I have this blanket on my bed now. It's warm, lightweight, and the bubbles and color make me smile when I look at it. Very happy with purchase!
