Made in the traditional way, our oak stool will be treasured for years and will become an heirloom of the future. It can be used by a small child as a table, as a stool, and as the child grows, it can be used as a useful footstool or small side table. Our stool will sit well in a nursery or in the living room and will become a much-loved piece over time.

We engrave the letter and name of your choice deeply into both ends of this hand made oak stool. We finish with a blend of coloured oils and waxes to give it an aged and bleached contemporary feel. Perfect for co-ordinating with neutral colour schemes.

Each one of these beautiful solid oak stools is hand made by us in our own workshop in the heart of Derbyshire. We take European oak, cut it and sand it by hand and construct the stool with traditional oak dowels. On each end of the stool, we engrave a letter of your choice then the phrase 'is for', followed by the name of your choice. We apply coloured oils and waxes to feed and protect the wood so it will look good for many years to come.
