MC-LW-LITE-CO2-E-INK-01

A Ready For Anything® building block for Niagara-based indoor air quality control with clear, E-Ink Display and solar panel

Make CO₂ visible in the room — and actionable in the system.

MC-LW-LITE-CO2-E-INK-01 is a LoRaWAN® CO₂ sensor with a low-power e-ink display, designed to make indoor air quality immediately visible to occupants while enabling Niagara to deliver demand-driven ventilation and energy-efficient operation.

The problem this product exists to solve

In many buildings, indoor air quality is either invisible to occupants or hidden in dashboards that only specialists ever see. Ventilation then runs on fixed schedules or assumptions — leading to wasted energy, inconsistent comfort, and poor air quality during occupancy peaks.

The issue isn’t a lack of sensors or ventilation equipment. It’s the absence of clear, room-level CO₂ visibility that can be integrated into a system capable of responding intelligently.

When this problem is addressed properly, air quality becomes measurable, understandable, and controllable — without adding operational complexity.

Niagara Integration (Innon Support)

For Niagara-based systems, MC-LW-LITE-CO2-E-INK-01 can be integrated using Innon’s LoRaWAN driver for Niagara, exposing CO₂, temperature, humidity, and light level data as native Niagara points.

  • Demand-controlled ventilation driven by real IAQ signals
  • Consistent point models across rooms and sites
  • Cleaner handover and long-term operability

Why this product is Ready For Anything®

Ready for Today

  • NDIR CO₂ sensing provides accurate, real-time indoor air quality insight
  • 1.54" e-ink display makes CO₂ levels visible at the point of use
  • Temperature and humidity sensing adds comfort context
  • Reduces “stuffy room” complaints by making conditions transparent

Ready for Tomorrow

  • LoRaWAN® Class A connectivity supports scalable retrofits without rewiring
  • Solar-powered design enables battery-free operation in normal indoor lighting
  • Indefinite operation when powered by ambient light
  • FUOTA (Firmware Update Over The Air) supports long-term lifecycle adaptability

Ready for Security

  • LoRaWAN® end-to-end encryption (AES-CTR)
  • No dependency on exposed local IP networks
  • Low-maintenance design reduces operational risk

Ready for Integration

  • Open LoRaWAN® protocol (LoRaWAN® 1.0.3)
  • Compatible with multi-vendor BMS architectures
  • Supported via Innon’s LoRaWAN driver for Niagara
  • Avoids lock-in and fragile, one-off integrations

What makes this product different

Many CO₂ sensors are invisible infrastructure — useful, but disconnected from occupants and daily operation. This device adds a critical missing layer: clear, local visibility.

  • E-ink display: ultra-low power, always readable, and ideal for continuous IAQ visibility.
  • Solar-powered operation: no batteries to replace under normal indoor lighting conditions.
  • Behaviour + system alignment: occupants see air quality while Niagara optimises ventilation.
  • Designed for systems: built to feed control logic, not just dashboards.

Typical applications (where local IAQ visibility matters)

  • Meeting rooms: CO₂ rises quickly; visibility supports faster ventilation response.
  • Classrooms: staff gain an immediate visual cue when air quality degrades.
  • Offices and shared spaces: fewer subjective comfort complaints.
  • Hotels and commercial buildings: supports wellbeing and sustainability goals.
  • Energy optimisation: enables ventilation only when needed.

How this fits into a Ready For Anything® Niagara + LoRaWAN IAQ solution

On its own, MC-LW-LITE-CO2-E-INK-01 makes indoor air quality visible and measurable at room level. When integrated into a Niagara-based LoRaWAN architecture, it becomes part of a Ready For Anything® IAQ solution designed to stay useful long after handover.

  • Niagara centralises IAQ data across rooms and buildings
  • Ventilation becomes demand-driven rather than schedule-driven
  • Operators gain clear evidence for optimisation and reporting
  • Occupants benefit from transparency and improved comfort

From good systems to great outcomes

  • Healthier indoor environments
  • Reduced ventilation energy consumption
  • Fewer comfort complaints and faster diagnosis
  • Battery-free sensing under normal indoor lighting
  • Systems that remain understandable and adaptable over time

Who this product is for

Designed for

  • System integrators delivering demand-controlled ventilation solutions
  • Facilities teams responsible for IAQ and occupant wellbeing
  • Building owners focused on long-term efficiency and sustainability

Not ideal for

  • Installations in permanent darkness without USB-C power
  • Projects with no plan to act on IAQ data

Only for the pale skinned ones
Style: SPF 50, Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Great coverage and texture! However, it left a white cast over olive toned skin. I looked sick. But looked perfect on my pasty redhead daughter.

Great everyday sunscreen

Really impressed with this sunscreen. It’s a bit thick going on, but a little goes a long way. Once applied, it feels lightweight, not greasy or oily at all. Provides great coverage and protection, definitely a great product I’ll keep using.

The BEST sunscreen I've found
Style: SPF 50, Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is my MUST HAVE sunscreen. I've had almost every type of skin cancer (thankfully, caught early), so I NEED good sun protection, especially on my face. I have very fair skin. This product leaves a bit of a white cast, but after a short period of time, that white case is absorbed. The white cast of a mineral sunscreen might look chalky on a person with darker skin. The BEST thing about this sunscreen is I can put it on my eyelids and under my eyes, it doesn't irritate my eyes AT ALL. The other well-known sunscreen I used for a long time really made my eyes sting if a bit got into them. This is my favorite sunscreen of all time.

Solid mineral SPF with light coverage effect
Style: SPF 50, Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m used to La Roche-Posay’s chemical sunscreens, so this was my first time trying their mineral version. The texture is actually quite nice for a mineral formula. It spreads evenly and doesn’t feel gritty or chalky. That said, it does take a bit longer to fully absorb compared to chemical SPFs. I’m already very pale, and I still notice a slight white cast. It’s not extreme, but it’s there. To be fair, most mineral sunscreens tend to do this, especially those using zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. Interestingly, on my skin it almost behaves like a very light tinted sunscreen. It slightly blurs and softens the appearance of minor blemishes and redness, which I appreciate on minimal-makeup days. It provides broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection and feels gentle on sensitive skin. I haven’t experienced irritation, pilling, or breakouts. It layers reasonably well over moisturizer but benefits from being applied in thin, well-blended layers, which adds some time to my morning routine so it's a little inconvenient. Overall, it’s a solid mineral option with good protection. Just expect a bit more blending time and a subtle cast.
