This B&H Kit includes the Manfrotto 410 Junior Geared Head and a 410PL Quick Release Plate . With a support weight of 11 lb, the 410 compact geared head is specifically designed for use with SLR and medium format cameras. It utilizes easily adjustable rubber knobs and offers precise geared movements in three directions: 360° of pan, +90 to -30° of front tilt & +90 to -30° of lateral tilt. This professional series head has a large camera platform and a leveling bubble, and the camera mounting screw travels in a 2" slot to facilitate perfect balancing of the camera's center of gravity.
An additional Manfrotto 410PL quick release plate is included in this kit as a spare or for rapid changing between two camera bodies.

The Manfrotto 410PL Quick Release Plate is a low profile plate for the RC4 quick release system. It is larger than Manfrotto's standard RC2 system's plate, and it comes supplied with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threaded screws. Its screw travels along a 2" grooved slot, to better accommodate professional cameras of different dimensions.
