Emerald is the most precious stone in the Beryl group. The name Emerald comes from the Greek "smaragdos" via the Old French "esmeralde", and really just means 'green gemstone.' Emerald's precious green color is caused by trace amounts of chromium and vanadium. Emeralds are considered one of the four Precious Stones; the Sapphire, the Emerald, the Ruby and the Diamond. Emeralds are found in many countries, but Columbia and Brazil are the major producers; Columbia is recognized as the source for the finest stones. They are also found in Pakistan, Russia, Australia, South Africa, India, Norway, and the United States. Incas and Aztecs of South America, where the best emeralds are still found today, regarded the emerald as a holy gemstone. However, probably the oldest known finds were once made near the Red Sea in Egypt. These gemstone mines, already exploited by Egyptian pharaohs between 3000 and 1500 B.C. and later referred to as 'Cleopatra's Mines', had already been exhausted by the time the mines were rediscovered in the early 19th century. Written many centuries ago, the Vedas, the holy scriptures of India, say the emerald enhances the well-being, and are supposed to aid in fertility and abundance. Commonly today, they are closely associated with love and gifts of love.

Works great, keeps the light out of my eyes and easy to put together

I got this room divider in and it works great. It’s really easy to put together you don’t even need tools. I really like that it’s not see through, it’s not a black out curtain but it keeps light out pretty good.
I absolutely hate my bedroom layout there’s no bathroom door. My girlfriend and I have different work schedules so I’m trying to sleep while she’s getting ready for work and the light shines right in my eyes. This divider keeps the light out of my eyes and that’s exactly what I was hunting for. I also like that you can adjust the length. I took one of the bars out to make it a little shorter and it worked great.
I would recommend this room divider.

Arrived damaged

Unfortunately, very cheaply made. It arrived with one of the connecting tubes cracked horizontally. Possibly due to bad welding. It is quite a headache to assemble. It was delivered on time but returned for a refund.

Not a great experience but a fine product

not enough screws were included to make the wall. I was able to locate more screws to finish building-so I didn’t have to return the product- but it was a pain and I got lucky finding the pieces I needed
