The Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4/B was a fighter-bomber adaptation of Germany’s primary single-seat fighter at the start of the Second World War. Known as a “Jabo” (Jagdbomber), this version of the Emil carried a centerline bomb rack that allowed it to perform ground-attack and precision strike missions in addition to its traditional fighter role.
