The Sony RM-MC38EL inline remote control came as a standard accessory with MiniDisc players such as the MZ-E630, MZ-E730, MZ-EH50, MZ-EH70, MZ-NH900 (NA), and MZ-RH1 (outside Japan).
It is a revision of the RM-MC33EL that adds a Hi-MD section to the LCD display panel.
