The RWE800 is VIOFO's first 4K waterproof rear camera — purpose-built for exterior mounting on trucks, SUVs, and any vehicle where an interior rear-window camera cannot achieve a clear view. With IP67 dust and water protection, a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, and an F1.5 super aperture, the RWE800 records true 4K HDR in rain, snow, mud, and complete darkness. This is the same waterproof camera included in the A229 Ultra-W packages.

IP67 Waterproof + F1.5 Super Aperture

Rated IP67, the RWE800 is fully sealed against dust ingress and can withstand temporary submersion in water. The F1.5 super aperture allows significantly more light onto the sensor than standard rear cameras, delivering exceptional low-light and nighttime performance even in unlit exterior conditions — critical for exterior-mounted cameras that lack the protection of a vehicle cabin. 4K HDR ensures balanced exposure across headlights, taillights, and dark road surfaces in every frame.

Flexible Exterior Mounting

Mount the RWE800 on a tailgate, rear bumper, license plate frame, or any exterior surface with a clear rear view. The sealed housing handles direct rain, road spray, car washes, and temperature extremes. Important: the RWE800 is ONLY compatible with the A229 Ultra front unit.
