In 1996, Dennis Herdeman acquired a stunning 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee, which he proudly showcased at the 2022 MCACN car show, earning the prestigious Brad Van Hemert Memorial Award. The Super Bee features a gloss black exterior with a red interior, bench seats, and a Ramcharger hood. Under the hood, lives a powerful 383 Magnum engine paired with a 4-speed manual. The car is equipped with black steelies, dog dish hubcaps, and redline tires, complemented by a bold red Bee stripe and dual hood scoops.
This Super Bee is a testament to originality, with a complete numbers-matching drivetrain and as many original parts as possible. The body remains 100% original requiring only a single quarter bottom to be welded in. After countless hours of meticulous block sanding, among other fine touches the car was finished. Dennis takes great pride in owning this classic beauty, and now, thanks to Auto World, you can experience the same joy with this 1:18 replica.
