This Scrim Jim Cine Frame Set from Westcott includes all of the necessary frame tubes and connectors to construct your own 2 x 2' frame for attaching fabrics in order to create diffusion panels, flags, or other light control tools. This specific kit includes four 22" tubes and four 2D frame connectors, as well as a transport strap for carrying the set. Each tube is constructed from anodized aluminum alloy, features riveted heavy-duty hook-and-loop tape on two sides for attaching fabrics, and incorporates a 3/8"-16 threaded mount for mounting atop stands. The included self-locking connectors are used to combine the individual tube pieces in order to create a flat 2D frame.

  • Scrim Jim Cine Frame Tube (22")

    The integral component within a modular system, this 22" long Scrim Jim Cine Frame Tube from Westcott is used to construct customized panels in sizes ranging from 1 x 1' to 8 x 8'. When paired with optional fabrics, such as silks or diffusers, frame tubes form the rigid support from which fabrics are attached to create flags, diffusion panels, book lights, v-flats, or numerous other light controlling tools.

    This tube is constructed from anodized aluminum alloy and heavy-duty hook-and-loop tape is riveted to two sides of the tube for attaching fabrics. A 3/8"-16 threaded mount is incorporated into the tube for mounting atop stands and additional dedicated self-locking connectors are used to combine several pieces of tube to create flat 2D frames or dynamic 3D light shaping tools.

    Tube measures 22" long and can be added to additional tubes through the use of dedicated, self-locking connectors.
    Anodized aluminum alloy construction and self-locking connectors both help to maintain rigid, reliable frame configurations in various sizes up to 8 x 8'.
    Hook-and-loop tape is riveted onto two sides of the tube and is used for attaching a variety of fabric types to the frame system.
    A 3/8"-16 mount is incorporated into the tube's design for mounting to stands or other accessories.

      I thought I wouldn't like this stand but I decided to purchase it anyways owing to the thousands of 5-star customer reviews. I ended up loving it. It is perfect for a tall guy like me that needs to have better posture. The rubber pieces on the surface not only prevent my MacBook Pro 15" from sliding, but also stop the stand from scratching the base of the Mac. The Space Gray color matches my MacBook Pro perfectly. I thought this product was going to be way too tall because of the pictures but it ended up being just about right. If you don't like the height you can also go buy the which is by the same company but is adjustable. I love using the hole in the back for cable management. It is also more portable than one might think. Yes, it doesn't collapse or fold or anything however, you can put it in a bag and it will leave a nice cavity for you to place books and other materials in. I have brought it with me to coffee shops. The only reason I am giving this product 4-stars is that it is not perfectly stable. There is a slight wobble during typing. It is not extreme enough to really get in the way of use but it certainly isn't a perfect product like some people claim. Perhaps they were using lighter or smaller laptops.

      I'll stick to Rain Design

      There are a lot of laptop stands out there and call me a loyalist since I bought my first Rain mStand over 10 years ago but I came back to Rain for my second one after giving the original one to my kid for college. I purchased the Space Gray version to match my current Macbook Pro color. It's still a handsome, well-crafted non-nonsense design. It's great that Rain didn't change the design much from the original one I had. It works well with padding in just the right places, and it's timeless design is a complement to any room decor.       Simple, hefty configurable small tray

      "Hefty" is not an expected description for a drawer organizer. But it is in this case because of the solid metal plate it's made from. You could brain a zombie with this tray and not dent it (the tray... the zombie's the one that would be dented). Guess the material choice does make sense since the two wooden dividers uses magnets to hold positions. A strong bump would be needed to shift the placed dividers. You get some basic configuration choices from the dividers. Including additional (different length) dividers would allow further sectioning options would have been nice. It also looks good too. Like the design and utility. Would also go for a bigger version. Perhaps that one, like this, would have secondary uses... perhaps as armor plating?

      Elegant and easy to customize to organize your desk
