Installation Guide

  1. Disconnect the battery and relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel cap and allowing the system to depressurize.
  2. Locate the existing high-pressure fuel filter, typically mounted on the side of the engine block or fuel rail.
  3. Use a wrench to carefully disconnect the fuel lines from the inlet and outlet ports of the old filter. Have a rag ready to catch any residual fuel.
  4. Remove the mounting bracket bolts and take out the old filter assembly.
  5. Position the new filter assembly with bracket in the same orientation as the original, ensuring the flow direction arrow points toward the engine.
  6. Secure the mounting bracket with the original bolts, tightening to manufacturer specifications.
  7. Reconnect the fuel lines to the inlet and outlet ports, ensuring all fittings are properly seated and torqued.
  8. Double-check all connections for proper alignment and tightness to prevent leaks.
  9. Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition key to the "on" position without starting the engine to prime the fuel system.
  10. Inspect all connections for fuel leaks during priming. If leaks are detected, immediately turn off the ignition and re-tighten fittings.
  11. Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes while monitoring for any fuel leaks or irregularities.
  12. Perform a final visual inspection of the installation and clean up any spilled fuel before operating the engine.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Q: How do I confirm this filter fits my Suzuki outboard?
A: Check the compatibility table above to verify your engine model and year (DF150 or DF175, 2006-2010). You can also cross-reference the OEM part number stamped on your current filter with the numbers listed in the part number table.

Q: How often should I replace the high-pressure fuel filter?
A: Suzuki recommends inspecting the fuel filter every 100 hours of operation and replacing it annually or every 200-300 hours, whichever comes first. If you experience fuel starvation, rough idling, or loss of power, replace the filter immediately.

Q: What are the signs that my fuel filter needs replacement?
A: Common symptoms include difficulty starting, engine hesitation or sputtering under load, reduced top speed, poor fuel economy, and irregular idle. If you notice any of these issues, inspect and replace the fuel filter as needed.

Q: Can I use this filter on other Suzuki four-stroke models?
A: This filter is specifically designed for the DF150 and DF175 models from 2006-2010. Using it on other models may result in improper fitment or fuel system issues. Always verify compatibility with your specific engine model and year.

Q: What is the difference between this aftermarket filter and the OEM version?
A: This aftermarket filter is manufactured to OEM specifications with comparable materials and performance standards. It undergoes rigorous testing including leakage and pressure impulse tests to ensure reliability, offering a cost-effective alternative without compromising quality.

Q: Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
A: This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.

Q: How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?
A: We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.

Q: What is your warranty and return policy?
A: This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.

Not the sorry copper coated aluminum.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
The wire is 16 gauge plenty big for my system. Heck, the wires supplied with my stereo, copomonet speakers, and amplifiers are about 20 or 24 gauge. I'm quite sure the wire will be more than suffeceint. I, m installing a mono sub amplifier a four-way amplifier to the sub amp outputs and the front of lines of the stereo. I'm gonna be pushing 20 speakers all except the sub woofer only pushing 100 watts a channel and the sub will push 150 watts. That makes 21 altogether. Not much just good clean sound. I've been working on the project going on 5 years now. Been bargain hunting, besides the work I've only got about $650 in the project. Can't wait to get it completed here around the end of July. Hopefully, it will sound great didn't want to pay anyone. Seen too many "professional" jobs that were subpar. I've seen some nightmares. Figured if l did the job then who could I blame at least I can only blame myself and didn't pay $1,000 for it. 😁🤔

It's a good one, buy it.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
Actual 5 stars! OFC, copper stranded wire, takes solder nicely when tinned, stiff and pliable enough to stay bent. covering melts INTO wire as expected. I was hoping for a good deal and got one.

Not bad for money. But the spot lens is def a narrow spot
Color: 4.5inch Spot Light, Color: 4.5inch Spot Light
I did a direct comparison to BD squadron pro with spot lens. Pic one is 1 squadron spot lens, pic two is 1 auxbeam 4.5 Not a pair. Only one light each. Then the video is 2 squadron pro one with spot lenses the other with combo lens. Then both auxbeam 4.5. I wouldn’t buy the spot lens unless you have other lights or just trying to light a narrow beam a long ways. The fill light is not good. I say the brackets and the finish is on par with BD, not as deep as the XL80 but similar in size. The BD XL pro is def brighter with better fill even with spot lenses. I would say 4 of these would match the XL Pro at half the money if you have the space for four of them. But even 4 don’t match the XL80’s. But for 160 bucks it’s a good solid light.
