"This wine is all about the textures an flavours on the palate. From lemon the white peach, blossoms to apples, the acidity and and salivating texture deliver a wine of clarity, purity and length. A silken touch is contrasted by the acidity then flavours of citrus and pomaceous fruit layer in. Ready to drink from day of purchase and will age well in your cellar too with best drinking from 2026 through 2033" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Jun 2024

"A youthful and fresh Riesling flaunting its bright citrus and apple on a stony minerals line" Candice Chow, Wine Chat

An enticing aroma of white florals, lemon and white peach. Medium bodied, off-dry in style, with intense citrus, lemon-barley, and marmalade flavors, showing good depth. Drink now or age for 6 years and let the wine show the developing complexities of a great Riesling.

Established in 1996, proudly family owned and managed, Borthwick Vineyard produces wines that are a direct reflection of the Gladstone region, New Zealand. Ancient stony, alluvial soils, a cool climate, sustainable practices and minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery, mean our wines display distinctive single vineyard characteristics.

Planted in 2007 our one hectare of Riesling vines are lovingly cared for ensure optimal concentration and ripeness in the wines. Planted in clone 239 on rootstock 3309, the vines produce compact bunches that promote citrus characters and racy acidity, the hallmark of the Borthwick Riesling.

The growing season for the 2023 vintage. saw an early budburst with high growing degree days resulting in an earlier than usual harvest. 2023 provided some challenging growing conditions but good vineyard and canopy management and many extra hours amongst the canopy during the lead up to harvest produced clean ripe fruit at harvest time. Great flavours colour and balance across the varietals.

Our Riesling is picked and quickly pressed prior to settling and inoculation with selected yeast strains that promote a slow, cool fermentation. The fermentation is arrested when we feel the best balance has occurred between sweetness and acidity.

Dress look, without paying, big dollars!
Size: XX-Large, Color: Khaki
Well worth the $. With a sweater, perfectly fine for winter wear. Without a sweater? Perfect for fall Nice look You’ll need to have it ironed, in that it comes in a very small plastic. Minor ironing! A good buy!!

Very nice jacket/coat for the price
Size: X-Large, Color: Black
This was purchased to wear with a tuxedo for northern winter wear. The size XL is what he normally wears. It fit well over a tux shirt, vest and jacket. The length is perfect for a man; it covers the tux but does not get tangled in knees. It is lined in a satiny fabric. The wool type material is a bit rough, not soft, but it does the job. The black is rich looking and provides warmth for really cold weather. This jacket can easily be worn for casual wear. Should only be dry cleaned, but doubt it will ever really need to be cleaned.

Actually violet color and looks nothing like picture
Size: Large, Color: Red
Bait-n-switch. What arrives looks nothing like the photo. Its purple/pink and a misshapen ladies coat. Really low quality. And why they make them 90% polyester is crazy - just waiting to explode in flames!
