COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Design & Apply Makeup for Photography course. In this program, we delve into the essential techniques and principles that makeup artists employ to design and apply makeup specifically tailored for photography.

The Role of Makeup Artists in the Photography Industry is multifaceted, ranging from enhancing natural beauty to creating avant-garde looks that align with the photographer's vision. We'll explore the Evolution of Makeup Trends in Photography, understanding how styles have evolved alongside advancements in photography techniques and technologies.

Understanding Camera-Ready Makeup Techniques is paramount for makeup artists, as it ensures that makeup translates seamlessly in front of the camera. We'll delve into the nuances of makeup application, taking into account Photography Lighting and its Impact. Different types of photography lighting can dramatically alter how makeup appears, and we'll discuss how to adjust makeup accordingly for various lighting conditions.

Basics of Colour Theory play a crucial role in makeup selection for photography. We'll explore the Colour Wheel, complementary colours, and how to harmonise makeup shades with different skin tones, wardrobe choices, and background settings.

Skin Preparation Techniques are foundational for achieving flawless camera-ready makeup. From cleansing and prepping the skin to choosing the right foundation texture and blending techniques, we'll cover everything you need to know to create a flawless complexion in photography.

Contouring and highlighting techniques are essential for enhancing facial structure and creating dimension in photography. Whether it's for dramatic fashion looks or natural bridal makeup, we'll delve into contouring and highlighting methods that accentuate photogenic features.

Eye Makeup Techniques vary depending on the photography style. We'll cover how to create dramatic eye looks for fashion photography, soft and smokey eyes for editorial shoots, and elegant natural eye makeup for bridal photography.

Lip Makeup Design and Application are also crucial elements of camera-ready looks. We'll discuss lip colour selection, application techniques, and considerations for matte vs. glossy finishes in photography.

Additionally, we'll explore Makeup for High-Definition (HD) Photography, adapting makeup for high-resolution cameras, avoiding makeup flashback, and using HD makeup products effectively.

Throughout this course, you'll learn Makeup Looks for Various Photography Genres, including trendy styles for fashion photography, editorial makeup techniques for creative expression, and considerations for different photography settings such as studio and outdoor shoots.

Collaboration with Photographers and Other Professionals is emphasised, highlighting the importance of understanding the photographer's vision, effective communication with models and stylists, and teamwork for successful photoshoots.

By the end of this course, you'll be equipped with the knowledge and skills to design and apply makeup that not only looks stunning in person but also translates beautifully on camera, enhancing the visual impact of photography projects across various genres and settings.

Very slow, but good quality
Color: 2White
It works as expected, but my phone says that it is a slow charger even when plugged in my fast charger brick. False advertising. Really wish it charged a little faster

Slow As a Turtle
Color: 2White
Super slow charging. After 10 minutes, my phone only charged 3%. I plugged my original charging cord into the same 65W charging block and after 2 minutes, it had charged nearly 10%.

Great & very convenient charger, only one issue
Color: 2Black
This charger wound up being everything I hoped for - it charges a Galaxy S26 fast and works with a wireless charger compatible phone case. Despite all this, I'm taking a star off for the fact that *you have to buy an aftermarket converter* for it, because for some ridiculous reason, its cable end isn't a USB type A (which your previous phone's converters and probably many of your home's outlets use), but requires a 30W (no less) USB-C. So, there goes another $10 for the converter. Actually you'll probably want to buy two, for at least two rooms at your home, so there goes another $20.
