Les gars d'Oktoplut ont décidé de prendre leurs fans par surprise (fusil de confettis, svp) en sortant sans trop l'annoncer un nouvel EP, nommé "La sorcière de roche", disponible uniquement en version vinyle vendue en show, ainsi qu'en numérique.
D'un côté, on retrouve la chanson-titre, d'une durée "pas de bon sens" de 18 minutes. Sur l'autre face, l'extrait "Sous le pont", initialement paru sur l'album "Pansements", mais écarté du vinyle en raison de sa longueur de près de 10 minutes.
"C'est un projet qu'on voulait faire depuis longtemps, influencé par des bands de stoner ayant osé les pièces plus longues dans le passé, comme Sleep et Electric Wizard", explique le duo qui allie force rock, stoner et grunge en s'appuyant sur des textes profonds et réfléchis en français.
Et pour souligner cette sortie, Oktoplut promet une série de concerts thématiques mettant en vedette la nouvelle parution. Une occasion unique d'entendre live "La sorcière de roche", qui ne sera probablement plus rejouée par la suite... à moins que le groupe gagne un Grammy avec ce disque. Là c'est pas mal sûr qu'il n'aura pas le choix de la jouer plus souvent.
