As she nears the end of her 65-day gestation period, her energy demands rise. We developed PRO PLAN® Kitten Starter to meet these demands, while giving her kittens all they for a healthy start.
It's a high protein (43%) diet that provides healthy fuel for maternal energy and kitten growth. We've selected Salmon and Tuna as protein sources, so that even a Dam with morning sickness will want to tuck in.

Feeding for reproduction: PRO PLAN® KITTEN STARTER provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation.
Feeding instructions for kittens: Kittens start to nibble solid food at 3-4 weeks of age. PRO PLAN® KITTEN STARTER should be introduced at 3-4 weeks of age. Product should be mixed with lukewarm water (50-60°C maximum) to preserve the nutrients' quality and to make eating easier.
Refer to feeding table. At 5-6 weeks start reducing the amount of water added until the kitten is able to eat dry kibble. Serve 2-3 daily meals or ad libitum. After weaning, PRO PLAN® can be fed moistened or dry.
Mix in or complement with PRO PLAN® Kitten Wet Food for a texture that’s sure to please even the fussiest of eaters.Once your kitten has reached 6 months of age, transition to PRO PLAN® Kitten food.
