Care

General Maintenance: Repot to a slightly larger pot every 1-2 years, as needed. Trim any browned leaves if necessary. Wipe leaves down with a damp cloth regularly to remove any dust or debris, which will ensure your plant is able to photosynthesize properly. Can be propagated by separating the pups from the mother plant.

Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 15ºC-26ºC. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.

Light: Bright indirect light is ideal to maintain the bright coloured leaves of this plant. It can tolerate slightly lower light conditions, but the growth rate will be slowed. Direct sun may scorch the leaves and/or cause the tips to brown.

Watering: Soil should be kept consistently moist, but not soggy. Allow the top 1-2" to dry out between waterings. Ensure your pot has adequate drainage to avoid excess water from sitting at the roots.

Soil: Any well-draining potting mix will work well. Avoid heavy soil mixes.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer.
