The tequila is left to mature for ten months in used American white oak bourbon barrels. The mastermind behind Arte NOM is none other than the talented Jake Lustig, who grew up in Oaxaca, Mexico, and has dedicated his life to importing, selling, and writing about agave spirits. With his expertise, Lustig commissioned his favorite blanco, reposado, and añejo tequila producers to create unique batches exclusively for him, showcasing their mastery of each style. However, this undertaking required a change to Mexico's law, which previously limited a brand to representing only one distillery's product. The shoes are very pretty, but they are absolutely uncomfortable. I could barely wear them for an hour without my feet hurting. Unfortunately, they look much better than they feel. I really wanted to love them, but they are not comfortable enough to wear for any extended period of time.
