Caramel lace Umbel Suri silk

These are 50g skein of Lace weight Umbel base yarn. This is very pretty used on its own but it also great if used with another yarn and held together. It gives a soft fluff without a lot of halo. If you are a little sensitive to mohair, then try this one.

It has been hand dyed by me in the Allium Threads studio with cutch and to give a caramel colour.

Dye lot 19069.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
