WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Advanced Flight Techniques: Gain proficiency in sophisticated drone maneuvers and operational strategies through hands-on flight sessions.
  • Notebook & Pen: For key notes and capturing insights during training
  • Theoretical Learning: Deepen your understanding of drone technology with in-depth classroom discussions on advanced topics including regulatory frameworks and industry-specific applications.

  • Refreshments and Snacks: Stay energized with light snacks and drinks available throughout the session.

  • Spare Parts: Extra parts, like propellers, will be on hand to minimize downtime in case of any mishaps.

  • Power Access: Charging stations will be provided to keep your equipment powered and ready.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • The workshop requires a minimum of five attendees to proceed. If fewer than five are registered, participants will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their registration to a later date.
  • We limit our workshops to no more than 10 attendees to ensure each participant receives personalized instruction.

EQUIPMENT POLICY: Attendees are advised to bring their own drones, with a preference for models suited to advanced operations, although any model is welcome. 

WHAT TO BRING:

Interior Drone: Bring your own indoor drone, such as the DJI Avata 1 & 2, DJI Neo, Mini 2, Brinc Lemur, or Sky-Hero Loki.

Batteries & Chargers: Ensure you have plenty of fully charged batteries and chargers for multiple flights. There will be several hours of hands-on flying time.

Remote Viewing Case/Monitor: While we’ll have a few monitors available, it’s always best to practice with your own equipment for optimal familiarity.

Lighting Kits: If your drone uses external lighting kits, bring them along for low-light flight training.

Fully Charged Equipment: Make sure all your gear—controllers, tablets, and accessories—is fully charged and ready for use.

    • Precision Control in Tight Spaces

      • Master flying through staircases, doorways, windows, and narrow hallways without crashing or losing control.

    • Tactical Surveillance & Reconnaissance

      • Hone your ability to scout rooms and confined areas, identifying key items, targets, or suspects while maintaining stealth.

    • Operating in Low-Light Environments

      • Develop skills to navigate and identify targets in low-light conditions. Learn how UAS behavior changes in the dark and how to adapt to maintain control and visibility.

    • Coordinating Multiple Drones

      • Gain expertise in operating multiple drones simultaneously, coordinating surveillance from different angles, and learning how to perch drones in optimal positions for real-time information sharing.

    • Handling High-Pressure Situations

      • Learn how to respond when facing real challenges, such as:

        • A suspect engaging the drone.

        • Low battery warnings during critical moments.

        • The drone getting trapped in a room due to a door being closed.
