When it came time to upgrade the original Team Associated RC10GT, there were updates to the front and rear shock tower geometry. Along with these changes, the body was changed to house the new shock positions, and the width was increased to make room for different engine and exhaust combinations.

JConcepts, with approval from Team Associated, has reintroduced the genuine "GTB2" shell. This allows the faithful to recreate, rebuild and race with authentically styled bodies from the heyday of competitive gas truck racing. JConcepts was able to restore older generation construction and with a blend of today's materials, the GTB2 body is back out on the market.

The 1996 body includes a rear spoiler which is much needed for slippery race conditions, and 3mm mounting hardware. Also, the set contains window mask, and, of course, clear polycarbonate body (no decal sheet included).

    The suction power on this wasn’t the greatest. Even using the sticky patch provided didn't keep it stuck to the floor. I will say though: I was terrified it would destroy the cheap flooring I put it on, but the sticky stuff didn’t harm the floor at all. The toy itself has been fantastic. My pup loves to chew on all parts of it (the ball, the suction piece, and the rope) and it’s held up against his jaws of steel. I will be purchasing another one of these once he’s finally destroyed the original (we’ve had it almost 3 months with just about daily use).

    Favorite fetch
    We have a 70 lb Aussie and a 13 lb Havanese who compete with each other to fetch toys. This hedgehog is their favorite, largely due to the loud assertive squeak. Our big dog is a chewer and has a history of getting to any squeaker in a toy, once nearly choking when successfully removing one from a smaller toy. She still tries to chew on this toy, going straight for the nose but has not yet gotten to the squeaker which is large enough that I don't believe would be a choking hazard if she did get to it. No soft toy is indestructible, but compared to other plush toys, this is more durable. Once the nose has been chewed off, I have simply hand stitched the hole closed and from then on she's no longer interested in chewing through it. Have run through the wash and comes out fine. When one eventually wears out I order a replacement and the 2 puppies compete once again over ownership.
