What make our heaters better, if not the best, is that you are dealing with the designer/manufacturer and most of the kits have been installed by us and fitment checked. We use modern automotive quality vents- not something that looks like it was made in the 50's, so they match the modern styling of your UTV. We endeavor to use quality parts and hardware in all our kits.
This Ice Crusher Under Hood Heater kit has three 3" dash vents and fits completely under the hood. This kit comes with a compact yet powerful heater with a three speed fan which will deliver heat from the 14,600 BTU* Compact Heater Unit. Modern automotive quality adjustable vents direct the heat were you need it. One 2” vent mounts in the center dash panel and two 3” vents mount in the lower dash area. A unique feature of our kit is that the heater intake comes from inside the cab where the air is cleaner and warmer. Warmer air means more available heat for you inside the cab. Kits are supplied with Y connectors that connect directly to the engines cooling system for fast heat. Kits also include custom CNC laser cut mounting brackets, heater hoses and duct hoses, hose clamps, new and improved vents, hole saws (for the heater hoses and vents), grommets, Switch, wiring loom and terminals included, templates, your specific mounting bracket with hardware, and instructions.
Ice Crusher MaxStat - Inline Coolant Bypass Thermostat for UTV Heaters
- The MaxStat directs all engine coolant to your Ice Crusher Cab Heater, this means that the output of your heater will be at its maximum. If there is heat in your cooling system then you will have heat from your Ice Crusher Cab Heater. More heat means a warmer cab and in turn a warmer you!
- MaxStat only opens to let coolant flow though the radiator when the cooling system requires it to keep the UTV engine at an optimal temperature. Look in the pics for a diagram showing how this option works and keeps you warmer in the winter, and your machine cooler in the summer.
*Heater BTU# output is theoretical and is dependent on the coolant temperature of the UTV and the flow rate of the coolant, which varies by UTV and engine RPM. Outside (ambient) temperature the UTV is being operated in also can change heater output. That being said these 14,600 BTU Heater Units are more that capable of heating 99.99% of all UTV's
#British Thermal Unit (BTU or Btu) is a traditional unit of work needed to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit. One four-inch wooden kitchen match consumed completely generates approximately 1 BTU.

Please note: During the fall/winter season, lead time can be one week. We recommend ordering well in advance or calling us before ordering to get an accurate lead time. Free shipping is only to the lower 48 States. Orders shipped to AK and HI may incur extra shipping charges. Customers will be notified of any charges before shipment is shipped. Orders shipping to Canada will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $60 when the order is processed. This does not include duties or taxes, which can be billed by UPS/FedEx/USPS and/or the Canadian Government, not Couper’s Products as we have no control over these. All prices are in US Dollars.
Returns:
Electrical items are not returnable. Any electrical returns MUST be authorized on a case by case basis or they will be refused. No returns considered after 30 days. Customer pays return shipping and 20% restocking fee. Returns must be returned in unused condition with original box, pieces, and instructions.
