COLD SLITHER first crashed onto the scene in 1985 with their mind-bending, metal-infused hit “Cold Slither”—a song that was part of Cobra Commander’s covert plot to manipulate youth through music. Originally introduced in the 1985 G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero animated series, the band was a creation of Cobra, who disguised their Dreadnok enforcers as rockstars in a now-iconic episode titled “Cold Slither.” The episode quickly became a cult favorite, infamous for showcasing Cobra’s use of music as psychological warfare. Decades later, the band has clawed its way back from obscurity. Fronted by the enigmatic Zartan and backed by his unhinged Dreadnok bandmates—Torch, Ripper, and Buzzer—Cold Slither has been reborn as a full-force sonic weapon. Their sound is a brutal blend of heavy metal chaos and swamp-borne rebellion, fusing guttural guitars, venomous vocals, and a rhythm section forged in fire. Cold Slither isn’t here to entertain—they’re here to indoctrinate.

Solid sneakers—worth it on a good discount
Size: 9, Color: Vintage Indigo Canvas/Natural
These sneakers are solid overall. They look good and feel comfortable for everyday use, and the quality is what I’d expect from the brand.
One thing to note: if you have to walk a lot, they can start to feel less comfortable on the top of the foot (upper area). It’s not a dealbreaker, but you’ll notice it on longer days.
That said, they’re definitely worth it if you catch a really good discount.

Good looking sneaker. I wear a 12, these seem to run large.

Comfy but ouch!
Size: 11, Color: Stormcloud Canvas/Sleet, Size: 11, Color: Stormcloud Canvas/Sleet
Nice style that keeps its shape, comfy insoles, true to size. I got the grey color at size 11. However the back part of the shoe ripped into my skin. I had to wear band aides after the first day of walking during our vacation. So wear sock that cover the back ankle. Otherwise, I like these shoes.
