Six Questions Your OpenWorks Franchise Pitch Deck Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit pitch deck in Microsoft PowerPoint format based on detailed research into the commercial facility management sector. All slides are pre-populated with realistic data, such as a Year 1 revenue target of $600,000 and a 15% royalty structure, and are fully editable to match your goals. We defintely focused on making this a practical tool for securing commercial cleaning contracts for new franchises through data-driven storytelling.

Why now, and what urgent local customer need does this franchise unit address?

Local businesses are struggling with fragmented, unreliable facility vendors and need a single, tech-enabled partner to handle high-compliance sanitation. This franchise unit solves that by providing a 'total facility' management solution with real-time transparency for medical and corporate clients.

Market Urgency

  • Consolidates multiple vendors into one accountable service partner.
  • Meets rising demand for high-compliance medical-grade disinfection protocols.
  • Provides real-time reporting dashboards for instant service verification.
[dynamic_pic9]

What does this franchise unit offer, and why is its solution meaningfully better than local alternatives?

This unit offers an integrated maintenance package that combines janitorial services with specialized HVAC and facility care under one professional brand. Unlike local 'mom-and-pop' cleaners, we use a vetted network of specialists and proprietary technology to ensure consistent, high-quality results every time.

Superior Solution

  • Proprietary digital infrastructure for operational transparency and reporting.
  • Vetted specialist network for HVAC and advanced maintenance.
  • Standardized 'gold standard' protocols for Class A office spaces.
[dynamic_pic10]

Who buys from this franchise unit, and how big is the local opportunity?

The target customers are property managers for medical facilities, financial institutions, and Class A offices who value reliability and professional compliance. With a Year 1 revenue projection of $600,000 and a Year 5 target of $1,367,000, the local opportunity for high-density commercial contracts is substantial.

Market Opportunity

  • Targets high-security financial and healthcare sectors in commercial corridors.
  • Year 1 revenue starts at $600,000 with strong growth.
  • Focuses on multi-year, recurring B2B facility management contracts.
[dynamic_pic11]

How does this franchise unit make money, and what are the core revenue streams?

The business generates recurring revenue through long-term facility management contracts, supplemented by high-margin specialized sanitation and maintenance packages. Here's the quick math: with a Year 1 EBITDA of $151,000, the model demonstrates strong store-level margins even after the 15% royalty fee.

Revenue Streams

  • Recurring monthly revenue from total facility management contracts.
  • Premium fees for high-compliance medical and sanitation services.
  • Bundled maintenance packages including HVAC and general facility care.
[dynamic_pic12]

Who are the main local competitors, and what is this franchise unit's defensible edge?

Main competitors include local independent cleaning crews and national janitorial franchises that often lack integrated service depth. Your defensible edge is the combination of a singular point of accountability and real-time reporting dashboards that prove service completion to the client instantly.

Competitive Edge

  • Real-time transparency tools that local competitors cannot provide.
  • Singular accountability for all facility needs, reducing client overhead.
  • High-compliance standards tailored for high-stakes medical environments.
[dynamic_pic13]

How much funding is required, and what milestones will that unlock?

Total startup funding must cover the $72,000 franchise fee and approximately $42,000 for service vehicles to begin operations. These funds unlock a fast-track to profitability, with a projected breakeven in just 3 months and a full payback on equity within 2 years.

Funding and Milestones

  • $72,000 franchise fee for brand access and initial training.
  • $42,000 investment in service vehicles for field operations.
  • Breakeven target of March 2026 with 2-year total payback.
Finance: update unit break-even and payback model by Friday.

Good budget-friendly option
Color: Black, Size: Pack of 1, Color: Black, Size: Pack of 1
The chair arrived 4 days early and was easy to put together by following the instructions carefully. It feels sturdy and comfortable. It does support the lumbar region of the back and the arm rests are adjustable vertically as well as the head rest. I wish the arm rests were able to rotate in and out for added customization and that the back of the chair could be adjusted up and down for more precise support. But for a budget chair, it does a good job.

A solid chair for the budget conscious sitter.
Color: Black, Size: Pack of 1
While this is not THE most comfortable chair, let's face it - if you sit for long periods, what chair IS? I bought this chair because I'm making a career change. I've returned to school and spend hours at my desk. At the age of 50, sitting for a long time with my nose pointed toward a book can be hard on the seat, back and neck. I looked at all kinds of office chairs and settled on this one, primarily because it was on sale, was in my budget and so I clicked the "Add to cart" button and hoped for the best. It was delivered, and I had to work that evening, and when I got home my 17-year-old son had assembled it. My theory on the simplicity of assembly can be deduced from that sentence above. He didn't have any extra parts left over and the chair was complete! I sat down. I leaned back. I shifted the lever that keeps the chair in an upright position and sat straight up. Okay! I can live with this. It has been almost two full months of using this chair and I have no problems. Pros: easy to assemble sufficient comfort level - adequate cushion in the seat can be leaned back or pop the lever in to stay straight up rollers on bottom headrest is adjustable affordable easy to clean arm-rests can be moved up or down height adjustment is self-explanatory - you'll figure it out the "lumbar" support is actually comfortable - it's "there" if you back up to it but if you scoot forward just a bit, you won't feel it if you don't want to sit like that Overall this seems like a chair that's going to last me for a few years, at least, and not fall apart. In the context of size, I'm not a small or extra larger person. I'm an average middle-aged woman with meat on the bones. The seat is plenty big enough. I would recommend this chair as an upgrade to the hand-me-down office chair that just isn't comfortable any longer.

Love this chair!
Color: Black, Size: Pack of 1
I had an office chair that cost $300 more than this chair - had it for years, then things started breaking down on it. I read about this chair and, wow! I wish I had known about it sooner. It's more comfortable and it's not a chore to sit for a couple of hours working on designs. Wonderful design - supports my back well and it's very stable, easy to adjust.

Good chair with some quality issues
Color: Black, Size: Pack of 1
I've been using this chair for 12+ hours a day for the last 5 or 6 months and so far it is much better than my last chair I bought at Staples with a few problems. First, overall the chair is still comfortable when set properly, the cushion on the bottom is a little worn out but is still comfortable and I find the backrest comfortable except for the lumbar support which has very little cushioning and feels like a plastic brick being pushed into my back, however I find that I can keep it mostly out of the way most of the time and it isn't noticeable when I carry most of my weight on my upper back area while reclining. The reclining angle is super comfortable and the mesh on the back is not noticeably worn out. I like the headrest which is made of a cushioned mesh, its not better than a pillow but it's very comfortable to be able to rest your head in a chair you are going to sit in for long hours and gives good support. The arm rests don't feel amazing, they have a very stiff plasticky cushion feeling that I'm not much a fan of in terms of pure comfort but they get the job done as I mostly only rest my elbows on them when typing. The arm rest adjustment has a pretty good height range and I keep them at the highest settings and set as close to the chair as possible. While the chair may be comfortable, I have had some quality issues that bring down my opinion of the chair. First, my right arm rest does not go as high as my left arm rest and I have to set the left one down two positions to match the right one Second, the back rest locking for the upright position is broken but I can rarely get it to work as long as I don't put much weight on the back. I would imagine that most people would want to lock the chair upright as opposed to the other positions. Third, the 3 screws holding in the backrest untighten themselves over time, causing the backrest to move to its furthest back position and rock left or right if I lean on either side. When I tighten them again they will usually last about 1-2 weeks before becoming mostly loose again. There is no danger of the screws completely falling out though, just losing their tightness Lastly, I'm not sure how stable or secure the wood panel at the bottom of the seat that everything attaches to is strong enough, I used to have my armrests adjusted out further from the center but when I would lift up on my arms to adjust my seating position I would occasionally hear a sound of the wood stressing under the torque from the armrests. since I moved both armrests as close to the center as I can this has not happened; I would like them a little bit wider but I don't want to risk breaking the chair over it. Also, one of the factory-installed screws in the bottom seat panel fell out and wont stay back in but I haven't noticed any problems other than the risk of stepping on a screw caused by it While this is likely the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in, I have to give it 3 stars for the uncomfortable lumbar support and the quality control issues. If the QC issues were fixed I could easily give this chair a 4 star review
