This leather headcollar contains nylon reinforcement. Always consider your horse's safety and ensure there's an additional breakable point (e.g. a baler twine loop) when tying up.

Please note: Safety is one of the benefits of a leather headcollar versus a nylon headcollar. They are designed to break under extreme pressure, i.e. if a horse pulls back when tied up or the headcollar is caught on a fence or solid object. This normally occurs at the point of the check rings and can prevent serious injury.
