Zirconium oxide is one of the research hotspots in the field of inorganic materials today. Zirconium oxide is the main oxide of zirconium, weakly alkaline, molecular formula is ZrO2, relative molecular mass is 123.22. It is a kind of slow soluble in hydrofluoric acid, slightly soluble in nitric acid, difficult to dissolve in dilute sulfuric acid and water, odourless, tasteless, white crystals at room temperature and pressure. It has a high melting and boiling point, with a melting point of 2680¡ãCand a boiling point of 4300¡ãC Zirconia crystals have three crystal types, i.e. monoclinic phase (m-ZrO2), tetragonal phase (t-ZrO2) and cubic phase (c-ZrO2), and the different crystal types will undergo reversible phase transformation when the temperature changes, resulting in different crystalline states at different temperatures. The hardness of monoclinic phase zirconia is 6.5, and the Mohs hardness of cubic phase zirconia can reach 8.5-9.0. Esterification and amination reaction, cyclisation reaction, heterosynthesis reaction, direct synthesis of DMC from CO2 and methanol, etc.
