"Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the flag of Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A blue background consists of 9 white stars and a yellow triangle. The Triangle symbolizes the Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian peoples.
The flag consists of a yellow triangle with 9 white stars on a blue background. Blue and white colors are classic Slavic colors. The yellow triangle in the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina symbolizes the sun and peace, while at the same time it is placed in the battle coat of Stephen Tvrtho, the King.
The blue color in the background and the stars represent Europe. This flag, which is currently being used by Bosnia and Herzegovina, was adopted on 4 February 1998. The flag was then finalized as a result of the work of Carlos Westendorp, the United Nations high representative." (source: mappr)
