Six Questions Your FirstLight HomeCare Franchise Pitch Deck Must Answer

We built this franchise unit pitch deck in Microsoft PowerPoint format using our own research to streamline your path to funding. Every slide is pre-populated with data specific to this senior care model, including a year-one revenue target of $1,200,000 and a 12.59% internal rate of return. The deck is fully editable, allowing you to adjust the $4,500 monthly rent or local staffing needs to fit your specific market.

Why this location now, and what local demand are we hitting?

The aging population in medical corridors creates an immediate need for reliable, non-medical support that helps seniors stay home safely. This unit addresses the gap between hospital discharge and long-term recovery by providing high-touch companion and dementia care. Demand for home care isn't a trend; it's a demographic reality.

Local Market Demand

  • High-income senior demographic growth
  • Proximity to major medical centers
  • Shortage of specialized dementia care
[dynamic_pic9]

What is the service mix, and why do we beat local agencies?

This unit offers a combination of hourly care, companion services, and specialized dementia support backed by a national 'Culture of Care' framework. We outperform local alternatives by using advanced tracking technology to give families real-time transparency into their loved one's status. Transparency in care is what sells to worried families.

Service Differentiation

  • 24/7 real-time family communication
  • Specialized holistic wellness programs
  • Caregiver First recruitment strategy
[dynamic_pic10]

Who is the target client, and what is the local market size?

The primary clients are affluent seniors and their families living within the medical corridor, specifically those transitioning from local hospitals. With a year-one revenue goal of $1,200,000, the local opportunity is sized by the high density of households able to afford premium, private-pay services. Your local market is only as big as your referral network.

Market Opportunity Size

  • $1.2M year-one revenue target
  • $2.07M revenue potential by year five
  • Strategic hospital referral partnerships
[dynamic_pic11]

How does the unit generate profit and what are the margins?

Revenue flows from three main streams: hourly care, companion care, and specialized dementia services, with hourly care contributing $450,000 in the first year. Store-level EBITDA is projected at $308,000 initially, even after accounting for a 5% royalty and 1% marketing fee. Watch your caregiver mileage; it's a silent margin killer.

Unit Economics

  • $450k initial hourly care revenue
  • 5% royalty and 1% brand fund
  • $308k year-one EBITDA projection
[dynamic_pic12]

Who are the local competitors and what is our moat?

Main competitors include small independent agencies and larger national chains that often lack the specialized dementia focus and high-touch referral networks we maintain. Our defensible edge is the combination of 'Caregiver First' staffing and exclusive referral agreements with luxury assisted living facilities. Software and systems create a gap competitors can't easily bridge.

Competitive Edge

  • Exclusive luxury facility referrals
  • Superior caregiver retention rates
  • Proprietary client-tracking technology
[dynamic_pic13]

What is the total investment and what are the key milestones?

The startup requires capital for a $50,000 franchise fee, $60,000 in leasehold improvements, and $40,000 for staff vehicles. These funds are used to hit a breakeven point by January 2026 and achieve a full investment payback within two years of operation. Capital is the fuel, but hitting your breakeven date is the goal.

Investment Milestones

  • $50k franchise fee payment
  • $60k office build-out completion
  • Breakeven achieved in month one

We threw it away
Color: Grey
This thing cannot stand on its own, the side bars bend since it is not sturdy enough to handle the material screens. After assembly, I was so mad at it, the pleasure of crushing it was better than returning it. I tryed to think of other ways to use it, but could not… i kept the screens, they are the strongest part of this thing. Very disappointing

Works well
Color: Beige
Does the trick for privacy and some noise blockage. This takes two people to put together. The construction make it easy to assemble, but makes it just as easy to come apart on its own.

JAXPETY Room Divider Panel 6Ft Privacy Screen Wall Divider 88" W x 73" H - 3 Panel Black
Color: Black, Size: 3-Panel, Color: Black, Size: 3-Panel
I was looking for a screen to use while making video calls. I am on a budget, wanted something easy to put together, and would hide my apt in the background. Being on a budget, I thought my purchase qualified for the coupon. I was mistaken but contacted the seller. I received a quick response explaining how the coupon was applied. I was happy with the quick response and explanation which I verified when I went back to the page. The once all put together the screens are light weight and fairly easy to move. they do not seem to be made for easy daily breakdown. However, if you should need to take them apart to move or something, easy to break down. Depending on lighting will depend on if you find them transparent. I don't mind possible vague outlines; I was looking so no real details of my belongings in the background could be seen (shelves; figurines; etc.) My apt living room has no overhead light source, so floor lamps give light. In the 3 photos of 2 of the screens put together; the first is with a lamp in front and back of the screen as well as a tv on. The next has the tv off lamps still on and the screen reflecting the pc monitors. The third is with both lamps and the tv off, monitors on but not as reflective. In the box, you have all the parts you need as well as a small tool and an instruction manual. Item 'bags' are number [though they may come off in the box] to assist with assembly. Now assembly can be easy or hard depending on your abilities and the area you are working in. I have bad knees, so kneeling was not an option for me. My first attempt to put this together, I put the 'feet bases' on while still connecting the top bar. It made it twice as hard, and I stretched the fabric more than was necessary causing wholes around some of the stitching and stretching them a little. As well as causing some stitching to come undone on one of the pictured areas. Once I took off the 'feet bases', I had an easier time to screwing in the top bars. You will still need some hand strength, which I don't have much of, but it is possible. I use the grip things to open pickles jars. Once the screens were assembled, I followed the instructions of tying an outer screen to the inner screen and using the Velcro 'privacy flaps' to complete the connection. I have what I think is low shag carpeting which they were able to stand stably on once I wiggled them into standing straight up and in place. Given these post pandemic times, I am overall happy with both the divider and the price. The 2 things I do not like about the divider is the difficulty putting in the top bar [after connecting the top and sides] and storability when not in use issue I am having. Others with larger space will likely not have the last issue.

100% worth it - I recommend to EVERYONE
I've seen coworkers and instructors using folding screens behind them for video calls since the pandemic started, and I finally gave in and purchased this one. I freaking LOVE it. I love that I can be on a video call and not have to worry about the angle of my laptop or having people 'in' my home while I'm at work. It's so nice. I may eventually buy and deconstruct a wall hanging to create some colorful fabric panels instead of the brown, but (and I say this as NOT a brown fabric-lover) the brown looks pretty nice. It's a very dark brown, and it serves as completely neutral while still feeling a bit warm. - No need for tools to assemble, even though it says screwdriver. - One thing: I thought it would fold up flat, and it does NOT fold up flat. Important to know. I just keep it folded up into a 16.5" (grabbed a tape measure to check) square column by my desk and unfold whenever I have video conferences. If you can't tell, I really like having this thing around. 100% recommend and would buy again.

it's a utility screen
Color: Black, Size: 3-Panel
It's a basic, utilitarian screen. It's what I expected it to be. Assembly isn't hard, but it does require two people when stretching the fabric between the poles. I got it to use in a closet to separate the water heater from the washer/dryer, so it'll be perfect for that. Pros: it's opaque and tall (my 6'4" husband can't see over it unless he is standing against it) and I like the ability for the three pieces to stand separately of each other. Cons: it's flimsy. It wobbles and will tip over easily.
