Crafted from exquisite Indian Rosewood, The Jurist is a pen that embodies the very essence of wisdom, authority, and individuality. Each piece is handmade to order, ensuring that no two pens are alike—just as no two jurists interpret the law in exactly the same way.

The natural grain patterns of the rosewood create a pen as unique as its owner, offering an unmistakable blend of tradition and personal distinction. It's slimmer in the hand than our previous Fountain pens to accommodate for those long trials or taking notes in Conference.

Adorned with the world-renowned Scales of Justice emblem, The Jurist is more than a writing instrument—it is a symbol of legal integrity, balance, and the pursuit of truth. The smooth, polished wood feels warm and refined in hand, making every stroke a pleasure, whether signing important documents or drafting compelling arguments.

Choose from either a traditional fountain pen, with its classic silhouette and elegant flow, or modern ballpoint pen with smooth gliding action. Both offer premium hardware which ensure the quality of this pen will last for many years.

Alternatively, opt for our first-class upgrades that include 24k gold or platinum nib options, available on the custom pen page.

Every Wig and Pens fountain pen accepts standard short ink cartridges. We also include a converter with your fountain pen to enable you to load the pen with bottled ink.

We had another book on New York of these series and wanted to get this book for my daughter who is 9 years old. Along with her I found the language of this book interesting and entertaining. Have already visited couple of places mentioned in it.

a great guide to DC treasures
Format: Flexibound
This is not a guide book in terms of giving you directions and hours of operation, but it would be a wonderful first step in planning a memorable trip to the nation's capitol. Nineteen themed trails are given, seven in and around the Mall, six nearby, two across the Potomac and two farther afield. Themes include animals (Rock Creek Park, National Zoo, the George Washington University hippo (statue), the National Museum of Natural History, Owney the stuffed dog at the National Postal Museum, Oxon Hill Farm, Kingman Island and the Franciscan Monastery and National Cathedral -- and a blurb about presidential pets), statuary, music, food, horticulture, power, sports, ghosts, architecture, literature, transportation etc. As you can tell these aren't walking tours. Instead each theme gets four pages filled with photos, drawings, fun facts and information about festivals, artifacts, history and spectacle. I try to get to WDC once or twice a year, yet I still found plenty of interesting ideas for further exploration. If you are planning a visit (with or without kids),this would be agreat way to help them choose a few things they'd like to see. Information is presented in a friendly way but is not dumbed down. There is an adequate, if incomplete, index. It would be useful to have a calendar of all the events listed too.
