Ch. Margaux' first-wine frequently sees slightly higher portions of Cabernet Sauvignon, while the estate's 2nd, 3rd and 4th wines frequently see higher proportions of Merlot. Maturation of between 18 to 26 months takes place in 100% new French Oak barrels.
