Meet Levi’s Melon! I am so excited to be able to offer you this stunning 2026 new release on behalf of Levi Tremblay.

While trialing Melon, it was one of the most impressive varieties I have grown. First, it is a dream when propagating. The foliage is a luscious dark green with wavy, distinctive leaves. The depth of color and petal detail on Levi’s Melon is incredible; deep mauve raspberry with beautifully shaped petals that reach completely to the back of the bloom at full maturity. Blooms are mostly 3.5 inches depending on disbudding. If you want larger blooms, disbud. However, it isn’t necessary unless desired. Long, dark, thin stems could not get any more sturdy. Great bloom connection and perfect 45° angles consistently. There isn’t anything about Melon that I can criticize. I will grow so many more of her this coming season. Plant height 4’. Hybridized by Levi Tremblay and set to be released in 2026.

Product Listing: This listing is for one potted dahlia cutting. The rooting cube has been removed, and roots have been treated with Mykos Mycorrhizal Fungi Organic Root Stimulator. Two bottom sets of lateral leaves have been removed and nodes buried to encourage tuber production. Soil-less, Sunshine Mix #4 medium was used in a 3 inch pot. Potted cutting is securely shipped in a cardboard, reverse tuck box.

Honoring the Hybridizer: 10% of each sale of this variety is returned to Levi in appreciation and support of his breeding and hybridizing work. Information on Levi's seedlings can be found here

Is the Bible Really Unique?
Format: Kindle
Oswalt takes up the question of the uniqueness of the Christian Bible by focusing on the Old Testament (which is also the holy book of the Jews) and its similarities and differences to the myths of the periods in which it was put together. His comparison and contrast make for very interesting reading. He allows the two world views to stand alone, allowing the reader to understand his conclusions without forcing him/her to agree with the author. In reading this book, I also began to notice some very interesting parallels between the ancient worldview of "continuity" (versus the biblical view that Oswalt calls "transcendence") and some modern views being espoused in the Western world. Definitely worth a read whether or not you agree with him. It will help broaden your view both of your view and of the other side's view.

Good Core Content but I won't read it again
Format: Kindle
This book makes a strong stand for the position that the Bible does not fit within the genre of myth. That is the positive aspects of this work. However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.
