Thereafter, the regiment fought in every major battle until the end of the war: the Battle for Caen, the Battle for Verri�res Ridge, the night assault in Operation TOTALIZE, the closing of the Falaise Gap, the fighting in the For�t de la Londe, the clearing of the Scheldt Estuary, the Hochwald, the Battle of the Rhineland, and the clearing of Belgium and Holland.
