Lennie Goodings has been with the iconic press founded by Carmen Callil almost since the start. First a publicist and then for over twenty years, publisher and editor, she has worked with extraordinary authors: Margaret Atwood, Marilynne Robinson, Sarah Waters, Linda Grant, Natasha Walter, Naomi Wolf and Maya Angelou among many others. Virago has been a life-changer for Lennie Goodings - but certainly not only for her. I’ve been hearing all about the benefits of snail mucin for skin care, and now after trying Jasclair snail mucin hydrating serum for post derma-planing, it is easy to understand what all the hype is about when it comes to snail mucin. After derma-planing, it is super hydrating and soothing to put on, and my skin retains that moisture long after. But although it’s great for after derma-planing, it works just as well as a daily serum. For anyone wondering - yes it is a little bit slimy, but it’s more just out of the ordinary for what one is used to with a serum, not anything excessive. The smooth hydrated texture of my skin afterwards it’s perfect for makeup application and this serum works well underneath my make up, at least in part because it absorbs so well. A little bit goes a long way and this is now a must have as part of my beauty routine. I would highly recommend this snail serum after derma-planing and overall skin rejuvenation.

The Snail Mucin hydrating serum is soothing and effective, ideal for use after dermabrasion or other skin treatments. It deeply moisturizes, promotes skin healing, and helps reduce redness and irritation. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, it leaves the skin soft, refreshed, and rejuvenated.
