Bashi Bazouk is a term which comes from the Turkish word Basibozuk, which means literally ‘damaged head’ but is usually translated as ‘without leader’. That word served to designate some irregular troops of the ancient Ottoman army.

Currently, the Bashi Bazouks are mercenary adventurers contracted to be part of the corsair crews in service to the Sultan and great lords of the Silk trade. Integrated into Search and Sweep Teams, their mission is to go through a boarded ship, eliminating resistance points and searching for interesting stuff. These are the kind of labors in which none can deny their effectiveness. Although most of them possess a military past, the Bashi Bazouks have forgotten everything about discipline and respect for authority. As boarding groups they form a turbulent, obdurate and colorful gang that devastates target ships with chaotic wildness. Rogues and crooks without any conscience or respect for law, these undisciplined troops live only for their own profit and are sometimes hard to control. Their raids, and the damage they cause, are widely infamous, but the greatest scandal was the Al-Umara Station Massacre during the Silk Revolts, in which hundreds of civilians were slaughtered. Since that event, the name Bashi Bazouk has become a pejorative term. However, the utility of the Bashi Bazouks has permitted them to survive their bad reputation, and while greed still governs inter-stellar commerce, there will always be a mission for these unruly opportunists.

Love all the Barkbox toys

This is our third "Consuela"! Our dogs LOVE these toys, and they are the most durable we can find for our heavy chewers. They really like the ball inside as well. Highly, highly recommend these toys. I won't be buying other toys anymore, just barkbox.

My dog is a toy destroyer

I’ve had a hard time trying to find toys that my dog, Zara loves because she’s actually very picky. Ive gotten plenty of Kong toys that are well known to be indestructible but she wants nothing to do with them. Then I got her ropes and that seemed to be good for a while until she was getting sick in the middle of the night from eating all of the string. Stuffed toys aren’t good because she’ll rip them within seconds and eat all of the stuffing. I felt like I’ll never score the perfect toy for her.
I found the three layered cactus toy and decided to give it a go. It’s clearly designed to be ripped and destroyed to get the ball in the middle which is actually really cute and fun to see all of the layers.
The cactus arms have stuffing and of course that’s the first thing she went for and ate. I had to watch her and make sure I took the stuffing away before she ate it. And before I knew it, she ate half of the first layer fabric lol once she got through the first layer, all she’s been doing is walking around the house with the toy in her mouth. But now she’s tired and passed out on the couch from all of the fun.
This toy won’t last long with a toy destroyer but it sure does give them something to do and it’s a cute toy. I do recommend!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FINALLY! A toy that can handle my furry demolition expert!

Let me tell you about Moxie, my 97-pound Rottweiler who has made it her life's mission to destroy every single toy that dares enter our home. This girl has teeth that could probably open cans and jaws that make nutcrackers jealous. I've spent more money on "indestructible" dog toys than I care to admit, only to find sad little pieces scattered across my living room within hours.
BUT THEN... enter the Tikaton Indestructible Dog Chew Toy! 🎉
I'll be honest - I bought this with zero expectations. Just another victim for Moxie's reign of terror, right? WRONG! This bone has been in our house for THREE MONTHS and it's still going strong! Sure, Moxie has made some progress (she's persistent, I'll give her that), but this thing is holding up like a champ against her industrial-strength chompers.
The best part? Moxie is absolutely OBSESSED. She carries this bone around like it's her precious treasure, gnawing away contentedly for hours. It's given my furniture, shoes, and sanity a much-needed break!
Pros:
Actually lives up to the "indestructible" claim (mostly!)
Keeps my destruction-loving pup busy for hours
Great value - lasting months instead of minutes
No weird smell or toxic materials
Cons:
Nothing is truly indestructible when facing Hurricane Moxie, but this comes pretty darn close!
Fellow owners of canine wrecking balls - THIS IS THE ONE! Your wallet and your home will thank you.
Update: Month 4 and still chewing! Moxie approves this message with enthusiastic tail wags.
