The HC5-XXR6 kit features an ACT MaXX pressure plate designed for serious enthusiasts and race applications. ACT MaXX pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency in the pressure plate. The kit includes ACT's 6-pad rigid race disc made with high-quality ceramic friction materials and a chrome-moly hub heat-treated for strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. With the 6-pad rigid race disc, engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. This disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
