Directions to Use:

• Mix the Indigo Powder (50g for short hair,100g for shoulder-length hair, 150g for long hair) in warm water to prepare a paste. Use tea-stained water for better results. The Paste should be thick yet flowing so that it doesn’t drop while applied. Leave the paste overnight in a covered vessel.
• Indigo powder must be blended with henna powder. The proportion of the blend depends on the intensity of the color one wants to achieve. 
• Apply the paste on your hair from the roots till the ends, using gloves if applying with your hands or a spatula and brush.
• Leave it on for 45 minutes or more, depending on preferred color intensity. It’s advisable to keep it for 2 hours to get a rich black color.
• Rinse thoroughly with water. You can use a conditioner, but do not shampoo. Wash your hair with a mild sulfate-free shampoo the next day.
• It is completely safe to use natural and 100% henna & indigo for colored hair. However, it is suggested to wait 3-4 weeks in case you have colored your hair.
