Yarn Kit – Fast Forward by George Cullen

There's definitely a scarf craze happening, pops of colour to accessorise any outfit at the same time as receiving a woolly embrace – we're so here for it! Presenting to you, the latest design by our very own George!

“The Idea behind the Fast Forward scarf was that it had to be quick, engaging and show off Skadi's ability for crisp texture. It's a simple design with a repeated motif that runs the length of the scarf edged in a smart i-cord. The little chevrons made me think of fast forwarding through a film and are achieved through a simple lace stitch. This is set against a background of moss stitch which I think just makes the whole scarf seem extra cosy and inviting.” - George Cullen

The Fast Forward scarf is made in the delicious Hey Mama Wolf Skadi" title="Hey Mama Wolf Skadi, a plump and squishy worsted weight organic Merino d'Arles. It is knit from end to end starting with an I-cord cast on and is relatively simple. Once a few repeats are worked you will have it memorised and be knitting through it with no problem. The design is both charted and written depending on how you like to work, and two size options are given.

All you have to do is to pick your favourite size and colour. The Fast Forward Yarn Kit contains all the yarn you need to make your very own scarf, and it can be bought with or without the pattern. In addition you'll need needles size 4.5mm / US7, one stitch marker, and a darning needle for weaving in your ends.
